Mounting and connection must be carried out according to these instructions. Use for applications other than listed above is not allowed. Safety regulations: For mounting and start up all regulations for safety and accident prevention as well as directions and standards of the individual country have to be observed. The heating cable may only be mounted by authorized personell! The electrical connection may only be made by an electrical technician according to the electrotechnical regulations. Modifications on the heating cable are not allowed. Installation The heating cable or cold lead must not be shortened. Do not fix the heating cable, e.g. with clamps. The heating cable must not touch any sharp edged parts. The heating cable must not cross or touch itself at any place. Min. bending radius 25 mm The heating cable must be mounted in a way that avoids accumulation of heat. The heating cable must not be put across or through combustible material. Electrical security and and safety measures are to be provided on site. Perform insulation test before start-up. If used in metal pipes, they have to be included in the electrical safety measures (pipes to be earthed). Subject to technical changes.
