The SG Sure Grip® Model 2XL is designed for producing bottles up to 12 liters. It features various options including oval bottles (O), neck orientation (N), and hot fill bottles (HF). The machine can handle a maximum neck diameter of 20 to 53 mm and a maximum body diameter that is less than 2 mm larger than the biggest collar neck diameter. The maximum height and diameter for bottles are 410 mm and 225 mm, respectively.
The nominal output varies based on bottle size and preform specifications: 3400 bottles/hour for 0.5 L bottles, 2000 bottles/hour for 5 L bottles, 1600 bottles/hour for 8 L bottles, and 1400 bottles/hour for 10 L bottles.
The machine operates with adjustable blowing pressure up to 40 bar, pre-blowing pressure between 1-15 bar, and a dew point of +3°C. It recovers air from 40 bar blowing at 450 Nm³/h. The installed power is 65 kW with a voltage of 3x400 V + Gr.
The system requires a water flow of 3 m³/h, cooling water pressure of 3 bar, and a water temperature of approximately 10°C.
The machine offers options for reduced power consumption, with potential savings of up to 40% in electricity and 20% in compressed air usage.
