Position values are returned in resolution units. Position data is in ASCII decimal format. Encoder Address (ID) and carriage return values provided are in Hexadecimal. The checksum is calculated by summing the values in the data string AND address ID, and is the remainder after dividing by 256. The checksum value will be a hexadecimal number between 0 and 255.
