This module allows accurate and reliable measurement of remotely located piezoelectric sensors for monitoring and diagnostic purpose. The resulting signals are processed in the PMS-300 firstly for the machine condition monitoring (acc. to 10816) and secondly for the roller bearing condition and diagnostic (acc. to DIN 3832). The module is designed for 2 ICP® sensors, typically for X and Y mounting configuration. The SCD-200 is packaged in a compact industrial enclosure with IP66 protection. Principe of operations For each sensor, the module provides two low frequency (<2kHz) signal outputs: • Output 1: Amplified low frequency part of the input signal (<2kHz). Optionally, this signal can integrated with an offset for OK sensor feature. • Output 2: Amplified envelop of the high frequency part of the input signals (between 10 and 40kHz). The resulting signal is a low frequency envelop (<2kHz) which can be processed according to DIN 3832 for roller bearing monitoring and diagnostic.
