Overview The MIF II is a member of the M II Family of protection relays. This relay is used to perform primary circuit protection on distribution networks at any voltage level, and backup/auxiliary protection for transformers, generators and motors. Basic protection features include time delayed overcurrent , instantaneous overcurrent (two levels), and thermal image protection.
