The module holds a full spool of interposer on the left side and the feeder-part on the right side collects the used Interposer material. An intelligent spring mechanism in the module prevents sticking of the interposer material to the Hot Bar after bonding. The tension on the interposer material is automatically controlled through a spring-operated level. The Interposer Module is available in a manual or a fully automatic configuration applicable for all Amada Miyachi Europe SARCON INTERPOSER (HEAT-SEAL BONDING & Sarcon Interposer is used between the Hot Bar and the products. This is a common practice for Heat-Seal bonding and ACF Laminating. The Sarcon Interposer material offers several functions including protecting the Hot Bar against glass splinters and applying bond force on the overall bond area of the product, even between the tracks creating a stronger mechanical connection. The Sarcon Interposer material is flexible and compensates small product flatness imperfections occurring in production. KAPTON INTERPOSER (HOT BAR REFLOW Kapton Interposer (polyamide) is used between the Hot Bar (Thermo-plane Thermode) and the products. In some solder applications the Hot Bar is in direct contact with flux and/or solder material causing contamination of the Hot Bar. This contamination needs to be cleaned off the Hot Bar at certain intervals to avoid temperature drops in the process. This cleaning process may cause wear of the Hot Bar and to prevent Hot Bar wear and save valuable production time a Kapton Interposer module can be used between the Hot Bar and the products, maintaining a high level of joint quality at the same time.
