Guidance System • Provides Line & Grade Accuracy For The GBM • • Designed Accuracy Of 1/4" At 400 Feet • • Equipped With Remote Focus For Ease Of Operation • • The guidance system consists of a theodolite with remote focus, illuminated target, monitor assembly, camera, lateral slide assembly, elevator column assembly, counterweight, alignment holder, bore sight laser, and protective cases. • The theodolite is used to align and maintain line and grade with a designed accuracy of .25 inch up to 400 feet. • The replaceable battery powered, illuminated target is positioned in the steering head. • The video surveillance system consists of a 1.4 mega-pixel camera mounted on the theodolite which transfers digital video of the illuminated target to the monitor. • The target image is computer enhanced and displayed on the monitor assembly. • The lateral slide and elevator column adjusts the micro calibration of the horizontal line and vertical grade. • In bright light conditions, an adjustable iris is provided to control the amount of light entering the lens on the theodolite, thus enhancing the target image on the monitor. • The theodolite focus is controlled from the panel on the monitor assembly. • Monitor assembly has a higher image clarity in bright light than the previous tablet assembly.
