| Departure Non-Hazardous Release Agent AQMD certified DESCRIPTION Departure release agent has been specifically formulated to meet the high performance requirements of the Advanced Composites industry by providing consistent, effortless releases without buildup on the tool. Departure is a versatile, non-hazardous polymer that chemically bonds to the tool surface. Departure is thermally stable up to 500° F. (260° C.). BENEFITS • Specifically formulated for the dryer pre-pregs • Low surface energy for effortless, multiple releases • Eliminates porosity by improving resin flow • Easy application by spraying or wiping • No special storage requirements • People safe (no gloves or respirators required) • No fumes or bad solvent odors • Non-flammable and Non-hazardous • ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE TYPICAL PROPERTIES Appearance/Odor: White liquid/neutral odor Carrier: Water Flash Point (c.c.): None | SURFACE PREPARATION Departure should ONLY be applied over a properly cleaned and conditioned tool surface. PreFlight or AeroSeal RTC are solvent-free conditioners in the Waterworks line. HOW TO USE 1. Apply Departure on a properly prepared surface. 2. Spray or wipe a light coat. DO NOT OVER APPLY AS THIS WILL NOT IMPROVE PERFORMANCE. 3. Wait one minute, then buff off with a clean cloth. 4. Let cure for 15 minutes. 5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for a second coat. 6. Allow 30 minutes room temperature cure before layout of materials. | ||||

| Departure meets the requirements for "Clean Chemistry" and was specifically developed for releasing thermosets, thermoplastics and pre-pregs.
