Z A R L I N K . c o m ANALOG ZL40120/1/2/3 CURRENT FEEDBACK AMPLIFIERS Best-in-class Feature Set • High-bandwidth signals and fast slew rates support full range of high-speed video systems. • Ultra-low quiescent current maximizes operating efficiency for each bandwidth class. • Excellent transient step response characteristics and leading output signal edge speeds ideal for high-resolution video applications. • Output current drive of 65mA enables output voltage drive levels of greater than +/-2.5V into 50 Ohm loads. • 1MHz total harmonic distortion of -78dBc ensures high signal integrity. • Optimized differential gain and differential phase improves resolution of video data streams. Robust Surge Tolerance • Output and supply pins withstand 4kV human body ESD, while differential inputs tolerate 1.25kV ESD. • All ports survive full JEDEC latch up test of +/- 100mA for 100mS. Ease of Use • Pin-compatible with industry-standard pin-out for dual and quad op amps. • ZL40121/23 can be configured into full differential input and output amplifiers. • Operate from a 10V single supply or +/- 5V. Customer Support The evaluation board ZLE40005 may be used for the dual devices (8-pin). For the quad devices (14-pin), the ZLE40006 is to be used. The ZL™40120/21/22/23 series of current feedback operational amplifiers offers best-in-class performance ratings for large signal bandwidth, stability margin and output signal edge speeds. Based on an innovative, balanced architecture, the ZL40121/23 dual-matched amplifiers and the ZL40120/22 quad-matched amplifiers are ideal for high-bandwidth closed-loop circuits driving high-resolution broadband video signals. Zarlink’s new amplifiers also feature robust tolerance to high latch up levels and Electro Static Discharge (ESD) stress. In some applications, OEMs can reduce the amount of primary and secondary protection, simplifying design and minimizing cost.
