The Xiril ELISA Preparation Workstation provides the ideal solution for flexible assay preparation. It is configurable to set up multiple different ELISA assays in parallel and runs a variable combination of assays. With up to 176 samples/assay over multiple plates simultaneously, the system is set up for high throughput as well as for high variety. Individual well positions for controls and blanks can easily be defined through the user friendly software. The definition of pre-dilution steps is supported as well as the sample identification in their barcode labelled tubes. Whereas the final analysis of the assay with a reader has become very fast, the preparation of the assay still takes quite some time. The transfer of various reagents, samples, controls, and multiple washing steps are very labour intensive and also bear a high risk for errors in manual pipetting.
