® Test Instruments P rovides a simple way to check the spring contacttension of a standard straight blade re c e p t a c l e .Designed to test outlets with the following ratings: 15A, 125V, 2 pole, 2 wire; 15A, 125V, 2 pole, 3 wire ;20A, 125V, 2 pole, 3 wire. Completely insulated in an impact-resistant plastic housing and is safe touse on energized receptacles. Each blade has anindependent spring to relieve stress and assure consistent readings over a long life. When tension falls below 10 ounces, that tells you to monitor the receptacle closely for further deterioration.
