Application :

Batch ovens are used for curing a wide variety of composite materials in the aerospace and automotive industries.

Description :

Batch ovens can be either gas fired or electrically heated. They feature heavy duty construction, in standard or high capacity versions. A high pressure recirculation blower, along with fully enclosed & pressurized supply ducts, delivers heated air with a combination airflow arrangement. This type of uniform airflow ensures even heat distribution throughout the work chamber for a wide-variety of load conditions. All composite curing ovens are certified for +/- 10° at 350° F temperature uniformity before shipment, so no additional adjustments are necessary after installation. Tighter tolerances and different set points are also available upon request.All units are fully factory tested, adjusted and certified by a 154 point quality inspection PRIOR to shipment, which results in lower installation and start-up costs.A micro-processor based digital instrument is used for accurate temperature management. A separate high limit instrument with manual reset provides over-temperature protection.
