Shakers
Vibration Industrial generators, or "shakers," produce vibration for structural research and modal testing.
Electromagnetic Shakers:
• Operate similarly to an audio speaker
• A lightweight fixture attaches to the test structure
• Generates force in proportion to input current
• Driven by conventional methods using an audio power amplifier
• Shaker part numbers shown include the model number of the matching impedance head
Piezoelectric Shakers:
• A lightweight fixture attaches to the test structure
• Generates force in proportion to input voltage
• Driven by high voltage and requires an impedance matching network
• The F7 Shaker is built with an integral impedance head
