System Components Home Run Home run cables comprising of 2.5 mm2, 4.0 mm2 or 6.0 mm2 LSOH singles (number dependant on number of circuits) in metal flexible conduit (up to 40 mm diameter) complete with gland and lock-nut. If the structured wiring system is to be integrated with lighting or BMS control system the home run cable will generally comprise of a Belden type 8719 fieldbus cable or DALI control pairs. These are to be run internally of the conduit with the power conductors, not separately. Length of the Home Run cable will be determined by position on site. This cable can be supplied...

METALYNX2 Installation Installation Guide 1 Fix the master distribution box into position, as indicated on the installation drawing supplied. Then clip the Home Run back to the Distribution Board for termination. Attach the Lighting Control Module (LCM) to the ceiling or soffit, in the position shown on the installation drawing supplied. Fit the METALYNX 2 structured wiring T-connector to the LCM. Depending on the LCM manufacturer, this may be a plug-in connection or may require a screw termination. Most LCMs are pre-wired at the factory so that all connections on site are pluggable to save...
