It features a 3.5-in thin film transistor (TFT) active matrix liquid crystal display (LCD) screen that produces a bright, clear, high-contrast image of the fiber end face. It can be powered by 100-240VAC or a rechargeable Li-Ion battery (the Li-Ion battery must be in the display for the unit to operate). The HD1 display features contrast adjustment, auto-shutoff function (to preserve battery life), and a hanging accessory for hands-free operation. It fits and operates comfortably in the user's hand for easy use. Note: All JDSU HD-series analog displays are equipped with a 4-pin probe input. A separate converter (FBPP-DPAC1) is required for use with 6-pin probes. Inspect Before You ConnectSM Contamination is the number 1 reason for troubleshooting optical networks.
