The FF ICoT provides accuratemeasurements of valve stem position, input signal, actuatorpressure and travel time. With the
ICoT’s internal trending capability,
information for control valve signa-ture generation is developed foruse in predictive maintenance. The ICoT
TM 5400 provides intelli-gence for the control valve througha microprocessor-based systemutilizing the Foundation Fieldbusprotocol. Accurate measurement
of valve stem position, input sig-
nal, actuator pressure, cycle timeand cycle count data can be record-ed during normal operation, thereby
providing information for control
valve signature generation.
