| This is an installation connecting 5 train stations between Jyvaskyla and Pieksamaki in Finland with a total distance of 78 km. The train control centre supervise wayside signals, interlocks, train detection etc. on each station.The most important issue in this installation was reliability. Westermo provided a full redundant solution with our "Bridge Link" concept, both regarding hardware and link failure in the network.AII the sub-rings were built with a redundant ring with a secondary connection back to the next station in case of any failure on the primary hardware / link.
