Push down the MEASURING STICK to let the DOWN MEASURING SURFACE close to the UP MEASURING SURFACE , then press the ZERO to let the display show 0.00mm or 0.000in.Then release the MEASURING STICK . 4. Take the workpiece between the UP and DOWN MEASURING SURFACE then push down the UP MEASURING SURFACE to contact the workpiece, last, read the display data. 5. Press MM/IN button to interchange the measuring unit. The method of replacing battery The backside, rotate battery lid counterclockwise and get it down then replace one SR44/LR44 battery with its positive (+) side facing upward. IMPORTANT NOTICE 1. Avoid strong shocks, impact, dropping etc., otherwise it will damage the appearance and precision. 2. Keep gauge clean, prevent liquid from getting into inside. 3. Do not connect any part of gauge with electricity; otherwise it will damage the circuit. 4. Must take out the battery if not in use for a long time.
