Lewis Valves can be furnished with a variety of automatic actuators for either electric motorized operation or pneumatic operation. Actuators are assembled to the valves by Lewis technicians and fully calibrated before shipment. ► ALL-METAL CONSTRUCTION featuring LEWMET nickel-chrome alloys eliminates failures generally associated with non-metallic lined valves in sulphuric acid service. Such linings are prone to brick chip/tower packing damage, as well as separation from the substrate material. ► LEWIS BUTTERFLY VALVES are ideally suited for throttling service in extremely hot acid cooler bypass applications. The velocity resistance of LEWMET allows the piping engineer the flexibility to downsize the valve to its most efficient and economic size.
