SONIC DIGITAL MULTI MF - 22604 Error messages and troubleshooting

HF - lights up but no power

Possible causes:
• No transducer connected Terminal box incorrectly connected
www.weber-ultrasonics.com • • Cable bridge from PIN 2 to 3 in HF plug forgotten
• Transducer failure Remedy:
• Connect transducer
• Check terminal box contacts
• Insert a cable bridge into HF plug
• Fit a new transducer

Generator turns on and off of its own accord

Possible causes:
• Remote control has no contact
• Timer function is activated (Aux 2 is lit) Remedy:
• Check remote control
• Deactivate timer control

Generator cannot be controlled

Possible causes:
• Frequency window incorrectly adjusted
• External output setting activated/deactivated Remedy:
• Reset frequency window to Standard
• Activate or deactivate external output setting

Generator outputs HF but a malfunction is indicated

Possible causes:
• Defective connection X1 PIN 7-13
• Error signals not set correctly at factory
• Control lead failure Remedy:
• Check connection X1 PIN 7-13
• Set error trap to „open“ in I/O polarities menu
• Check control lead and replace if necessary

Generator outputs HF, cleaning result unsatisfactory

Possible causes:
• Power set too low
• Transducer defective
• Transducer fitted incorrectly Remedy:
• Increase power
• Replace transducer
• Check fitting location of the transducer 19
