SONIC DIGITAL LC SD/TD - 22604 Error messages and troubleshooting

The following error messages may appear in the display: A – PROTECTION ACTIVE The electronic overcurrent fuse has detected an error
www.weber-ultrasonics.com Possible causes: Transducer is defective Power supply or plug is defective Remedy: Unscrew the transducer connection on the housing Switch on the generator without the transducer connected a.) Error message still displayed: Generator is defective b.) Error message no longer displayed: Check the transducer and power supply NO RF – DETECTED No output voltage. Causes and remedy: see The electronic overload/short-circuit fuse has detected an error. “A-PROTECTION ACTIVE” The monitoring device in the generator detects all malfunctions occurring during operation, except the highly unlikely event of a single transducer element becoming detached from the transducer membrane. This could lead to a drop in the ultrasonic output in the near field, i.e directly on the membrane. OVER TEMPERATURE The generator is too hot Possible causes: • The generator‘s ventilation slits are blocked • Unsuitable location for the generator • The transducer is defective • The fan is defective Remedy: • Check the fan! When the mains power is switched on, the fan should briefly start running • Check the air flow to and from the generator • Check the transducers 19
