Especially ideal for carton coding, this fully addressable unit outputs any combination of large-and small-character codes ranging in font size from five points (.06" high) to 200 points (2.8" high). Messages are printed with reliable, 180x200-dpi clarity at speeds reaching up to 150 feet per minute. Depending on font size, the ML500 can produce messages with one to 40 lines of code, offering capital and lower-case letters, along with bold and italics options, too. Adding to its flexibility, the system can be driven by either a Windows-based controller or your own PC. In addition, an optional NetJet software upgrade allows for a larger database and more formatting choices. Plus, advanced networking features permit controlling up to 100 printheads from only one PC.
