Clamping Variations
The standard clamping straprequires 14 mm (0.563 in.) clearance above the heated surface, at the barrel nuts. When clearance is limited, smaller barrel nuts can be used which require only 9 mm (0.375 in.) clearance. The clearance required by the clamping screwdepends on the screw length andthe diameter of the heater. The low- profile clamping strap is standard on units less than 45 mm (1.375in.)wide and utilizes a 13 mm (0.5in.) wide strap. Consult Watlow for moreinformation.
