ASTM Type J or K internal thermo-couples are available on lead Type B with loose braid. The industrial thermocouple junction, which is welded inside the leadcap or spot-welded to heatersheath, provides a signal for measur- ing relative heater temperature.

® rated for operation to 450°C (840°F) is available for high temperature applications where the leads are shrouded or enclosed with the heater. These leads are available in any of the Type B with loose braid as well as Types E, F and H leadconfigurations. All heaters rated at more than 250V expandable. On 25 mm (1 in.) wide MI Bandheaters, post terminals will be located 90 degrees from the expansion joint.
