The adjustment frame allows a simple adjustment of the brush to suit the material. Sword Brush BIQ 46.. In most cases, the standard version of the Sword Brush BIQ 46.. can be used (see page 7). This Sword Brush functions with the Ingromat system (see back of brochure). Adjustment frame VE 46 and VE 40 For normal applications, an adjustment frame VE 46 with a guide shaft diameter of 25 mm suffices. For larger nominal widths (> 2000 mm) or harsh production environments, we recommend an adjustment frame VE 40 with a shaft diameter of 40 mm. Pneumatic quick adjustment An adjustment frame has mechanical adjustment as standard. Electrical adjustments may be ordered as an additional feature. In some cases, a pneumatic quick adjustment is necessary to rapidly remove the machine from the surface, e.g. if the production line is stopped, for threading up, for surface anomalies, irregularities or for crash situations.
