Zone 0 (for G)
|
Encompasses areas, in which a hazardous atmosphere capable of exploding is continuously present or present over a long time period. For this zone, devices of the category 1 are necessary.
Encompasses areas, in which it has to be anticipated, that a hazardous atmosphere capable of exploding is present occasionally. For this zone, devices of the category 2 (or 1) are necessary.
Encompasses areas, in which it has to be anticipated, that a hazardous atmosphere capable of exploding is present only rarely and then only for a very short time period. For this zone, devices of the category 3 (or 1 resp. 2) are necessary.
Encompasses areas, in which an atmosphere capable of exploding is present continuously, for a long time period or frequently in the form of a cloud consisting of inflammable dust in the air. For this zone, devices of the category 1 are necessary.
Encompasses areas, in which during normal operation an atmosphere capable of exploding occasionally may occur in the form of a cloud consisting of dust in the air. For this zone, devices of the category 2 (or 1) are necessary.
Encompasses areas, in which during normal operation an atmosphere capable of exploding is not normally present or only for a short time period in the form of a cloud consisting of inflammable dust in the air. For this zone, devices of the category 3 (or 1 resp. 2) are necessary.
