Basic static load rating:
When the bearing is undertaking load, if the load is too big or it supports the big moment impact load, it will cause part eternal distortion between the rolling element and raceway. The distortion and load is direct ratio. Over a certain degree, it will influence the fluent rotating and leads to early damage.
The basic static load rating is the static load of the contact stress between the rolling element and raceway when the bearing is undertaking the biggest stress. Self-aligning bearing: 4600MPa (469kgf/mm2 ) Other ball bearing: 4200MPa (428kgf/mm2) Roller bearing: 4000MPa (408kgf/mm2)
The contact part which supports contact stress, the summation of the rolling element eternal distortion amount and raceway eternal distortion amount is bout 10 times of the diameter of rolling element.
You get "Co" from the table of bearing( according to the difference of bearings, radial bearing is "Cor", thrust bearing is "Coa").
Equivalent static load:
Equivalent static load is a assumption load which is the contact stress load when the contact stress of rolling element and raceway which undertake the biggest load is equivalent to the actual condition. The bearing is under static condition (including the super-low rotating and low swing) it supports axial load and radial load simultaneously. The load of radial bearing is usually assumed by the way of through the center of bearing. The load of axial bearing is usually assumed according to the axial line of bearing.
The equivalent static load of radial bearing can be calculated by the following two formulas ( choose the formula which the result number is big)
Po=XoFr+YoFa
Po=Fr
In the formula:
Po is equivalent static load
Fr is radial load(N, kgf)
Fa is axial load(N,kgf)
Xo is radial load coefficient
Yo is axial load coefficient The equivalent static load of thrust bearing can be calculated by the following formula: Poa=XoFrtan a +Fa(This formula is not suitable for the bearing a =90°) In the formula:
Poa - equivalent static load(N,kgf)
a - norminal contact angle When Fa<Xo<Fr, the precision of above formulas will reduce.
The limiting speed of bearing:
When the bearing is on work, due to the function of friction, the temperature will increase gradually. The limiting speed is the highest allowed speed when the bearing is not sintered or over-tempered during the consistent operation. In regard of the difference of structure, size , structure of cage, material, load, lubrication types and mounting condition, the limiting speed is also different. The limiting speed of all kinds of bearings are listed in the table for a reference. The lubrication ways have a great influence on the limiting speed , our company suggest apply:
Compulsive recycle lubrication
Ejection lubrication
Spray lubrication
Gas lubrication and high speed function lubricant In this way you can improve the limiting speed.
