The iConEMI has many of the standard features of the iCon, in addition to Electro-Magnetic Interference protection. The industrial shielding effect provided by the stainless steel fibers in the plastic cover and threaded metal coupling adapter minimizes unwanted noise and maintains signal integrity. The “Mate First, Break Last” feature connects the earth ground circuit, while the earth ground terminal provided on the ITA and Receiver prevents user shock and injury. For reduced wiring cost and ease of integration, the iCon receiver is capable of being mounted directly to PCBs.
