Unique: The patented CTD-System for controlled water condensation
This difference of the temperature between the waterbath and sample zone, crucial for the condensation of the water, is regulated. The CTD-Models equipped with this system
and held constantly on a preselected desired value, e.g.
39°C. If this is exceeded, the fans built in the rear part of
the outside roof suck ambient air through the sapce be-
tween internal and outside roof. So the heat derives from
the testing chamber. In addition these conditions optimal
for the condensation test are reached by the even heating
up of the water by means of the entire floor area. The CTD system offers not only crucial advantages forcondensation testing cabinets but also for cyclic corrosion
test as well as for combined salt spray/high humidity test-
ing cabinets. This option is available both for front door
opening cabinets as well as for chest devices. >

Fast Heating Up and Cooling Down Rates
The good heat transfer of the stainless steel floor allows fast
heating rates. Contrary to
testing chambers made of GRP
fast temperature changes do not damage our devices. If
required the cooling can forced by rinsing water over the
walls. In preparation: Ramp functions, in order to make
special testing methods possible with temperature/humidity ramps. Likewise the slower-acting behaviour of other de-
vices - e.g. for comparison tests - can be simulated. A good example of the service friendliness represents the com-
pressed air
industrial humidifier. The filterele- ment can be exchanged from the
user himself. The humidifier must
not be removed. In addition the humidifier from thermal shock resist-
ant glass serves as hot water reser- In the comparison for this a common 400L GRP chest needs 2.00 x 0.89 m.Moreover due to the separation of thetesting cabinet and the foot standing cabi-
net there are no problems with the trans- voir, if e.g. shortcyclic corrosions tests require preheated water.
This picture shows what we understandunder “Compact Design”. A complete
plant with a 400 L testing chamber for

humidity or even full automatic cyclic cor-
rosion tests requires a floor area of only

independence of the test solution flow from the air pressure the drop- let size of the fog can be influenced. >
