VITO surface protection films consist of transparent and UV-stabilized polyurethane films coated on one side with high-quality pure acrylic adhesive.

Performance characteristics

• acrylic adhesive excelling by paramount performance and very long service life

• optimal protection against mechanical stress conditions and scratches

• good resistance to abrasion, tear and wear

• paramount mechanical disruptive strength

• good dampening features

• excellent adaptation on deformed and uneven surfaces

• good printability and varnishing with high-quality varnishes

Examples of application

• protection avoiding scratches and abrasion in the area of the loading edges e.g. for estate cars (station wagons)

• protection of car entrance profiles, mouldings, trims, recessed grips and door locks

• rockfall protection at bumpers, bonnets (hoods), exterior sides of the wheel arches and in lower parts of the door sector of the car body

• protection of the car body against corrosion, weathering conditions and damages caused by environmental conditions

• application as noise absorption and fixed stop absorption
