® automatically steps the system’s optics througha number of “z slices”, capturing images of the sample at every one. VisionGauge
® then analyzes these imagesand determines at which “z” position each pixel in the image is in the best focus. This produces a very fine anddetailed height map with very high resolution along all 3 axes.
® fully automated high-accuracy volume produces: A numerical value of the measured volume (you can select different metric or imperial units) 3D surface plots (with an adjustable mesh coarseness, with either wire mesh or surface rendering, andeither with or without illumination modeling). These 3D surface plots – which can be viewed from anyperspective and rotated along all 3 axes – are very useful for properly viewing the sample from allangles and getting a good understanding of it.
