VCSBC50

The VCSBC50 is likely to be the smallest smart camera worldwide and at the same time probably with the most attractive price of all OEM image processing sensors! It has a B&W VGA (640x480) Progressive Scan CCD sensor, which allows even the inspection of fast moving parts with a high image quality! The VCSBC50 can acquire 25 full frames per second. The frame rate can be in-creased up to 100 fps by using the binning mode (2-times binning or 4-times binning is possible!). You can programmatically change the acquisition on the fly, for ex- ample from full frame to binned mode. The image transfer to a PC is done by JPEG Transfer via the serial interface of the camera. Due to its extremely reduced dimensions and its low weight, the VCSBC50 can very easily be integrated in an existing ma- chine as well as in the development of a new one and is thus the most cost effec- tive entry into the world of intelligent OEM cameras.All Vision Components Smart Cameras are built for industrial applications. They are insensitive to shock and vibration, and have multiple I/O lines for direct control of external equipment. For more complex control tasks, they can easily be inter- faced to a PLC.
