A Special Pump For Special Applications

Solving Problem Applications
â–  Designed to pump liquids that challenge other pumps, includingshear-sensitive liquids, liquids with solids, low lubricity liquids, and high viscosity liquids.
â–  Pump materials available to accommodate corrosive, abrasive,or high temperature liquids.
â–  Excellent for self-priming and suction lift applications. The Pumping Principle
â–  Pumping elements are bi-wing rotary lobes that provide agentle, non-shearing, low pulsation pumping action.
Packed Gland (RL016 & 025) â–  Liquid feeds the lobes from three sides to provide excellentsuction performance on viscous liquids.
â–  The lobes of the pump are of a non-contacting design thatallows long, trouble-free operation where other pumping principles falter.

fle

The Options
â–  Four bushing design available for applications to 400 psi.
â–  Accommodates a range of sealing options.
â–  Special pumping element materials and clearances for lowviscosity liquids.

ed

â–  Hardened shafts, bushings and industrial seal options are availablefor abrasive liquids.
Component Single Mechanical seal (RL016 & 025) The Benefits
â–  Won’t degrade the special properties of your liquid.
â–  Stands up to applications that cause prematurefailure in other pumps.
â–  Simple design is easy to maintain – no time-consuming shimming.
â–  Design can be readily flushed/cleaned with steam, hotwater, or solvents between batches.
