| Application Notes Packages, Windows and Pin Layout Dc\ ices are typically delivered in llvo types of packages; TO-S, BNC-bascd, TO-39, PEM with SMA connector and quadrant wiili SMA connectors. The BNC and the TO-39 packages are used for uncouled PV and PC devices. The TO-8 package is used for TE cooled devices. All II.-cooled mid I'HM detectors are provided with a window. We offer windows optimized for dillerent spectral bands: IJal"2. ZnSe. CdTe, Caf2, sapphire. AK-coalcd Si and \R-coatedGe. TO-39-Style Packages Description The TO-39-bascd packages arc used for uncooled room temperature devices (R005, MPC, PC, PCI, PV, PV1]. Siandard devices arc delivered without a window. Dimensions in millimeters. | TO-8 Two-Stage Packages Description The TO-X-based packages are used for diermoclccli ically cooled devices (PC-2TE, PC1-2TE, PV-2TE and PVI-2TE). The packages are backfilled with inert heavy gases of the low thermal conductivity (Kr/Xe mixtures). Water vapour eonde usa I ion is prevenled by careful package sealing and water absorbers.
