viastore systems , is a world leader in the development andimplementation of automated material handling systems and a supplier of Automated Storage/Retrieval Systems (AS/RS), Material Handling ControlSystem (MHCS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) software. We offer a complete line of mini-load, unit-load and man-ride products alongwith complementary software products that provide the performance andreliability required for improved productivity, cube utilization and inventoryavailability.

History Immanuel Hahn established the company in 1889 as "Haushahn GmbH & Co." and began to manufacture scales and cranes. Around 1900, the company beganproducing electric elevators and in 1929 manufactured the first "high- speed" elevators in Germany. In 1970 the company purchasedWeissert & Hieber and began the production of AS/RS.In January of 1999, the Haushahnelevator group was sold to theSchindler Company and managingdirector Christoph Hahn-Woernlepurchased the AS/RS business.In July of 1999, the company name was changed to viastore systems GmbH .
