Bitumen or sulphur generated during the crude oil distillation are stored at temperatu­res around 200°C (392°F).
The non-contact radar measuring principle is particularly suitable for level measure­ment under high temperatures and gasing products. VEGAPULS 62 radar sensors are suitable for temperatures up to 200°C (392°F) due to the use of a temperature adapter.
