| | Packed ready for dispatch The Case Packers E 4040 and E 4046 are of GMP-compliant design and can easily be integrated into the overall packaging process. They pack cartons or bundles into cardboard cases ready for dispatch. All the steps from erection ofthe cardboard blanks and filling of the cases through to sealing of the top and bottom flaps with adhesive tape or, alternatively, hot glue are well engineered for precision performance. | The Case Packer E 4040 packs about 400 cartons or 60 bundles into 10 cases per minute. The E 4046 handles the same number of products per minute but packs them into a maximum of six cases. The size of the cases varies according to requirements. Both machines are extremely flexible thanks to their infinite format adjustment to different case sizes. The machines are easy to clean - within ten minutes - and require minimum maintenance. Operation ofthe machines is straightforward using the central operating system with 3-D visualization. An Uhlmann packaging line comprising a blister machine, cartoner and end-of-line packaging machine uses the same operating technologythroughout. | |
