TYROLIT VINCENT

Tyrolit Vincent S.p.A. was created in January 1994, when Tyrolit Italia, a branch of the multinational Austrian Group Tyrolit-Swarovski KG, merged with Vincent srl, located in Thiene, in the province of Vicenza.

This is the turnover achieved by Tyrolit Vincent: 2000: 62 million EURO 2001: 67 million EURO 2002: 68 million EURO

In Italy the company employees about 282 people and has headquarter in Thiene (VI), industrial production facilities in Thiene (VI), Veggiano (PD) and Pianezza (TO), a Service Centre in Settimo di Pescantina (VR) for the Valpolicella stone area, a main storehouse in Schio (VI), and sales offices in Carrara (MS) and Sassuolo (MO). Tyrolit Vincent has two affiliated companies abroad: Vincent North America for the American market and P. T. Vincent Tyrolit Jakarta (Indonesia) for the Asian south-east countries. At the beginning of 2001 was established in Dubai the new branch Tyrolit Middle East.

Tyrolit Vincent is a strongly customer-oriented company that offers innovative technological solutions in the industrial application of diamond and abrasives.

These are the fields in which it operates:

- natural stone: industrial diamond tools for block extraction, cutting, calibrating, polishing, squaring, chamfering, drilling and profiling of marble, granite and agglomerates;

- ceramics: diamond tools for calibrating, surfacing, polishing, squaring, chamfering and cutting of porcelain gres and mono-or double-fired ceramic tiles;

- glass: diamond tools for the cutting, edging, chamfering, profiling, drilling and engraving of flat glass, industrial crystal and similar materials; diamond tools for the processing of ophthalmic lenses;

- metal fabrication: conventional industrial saw blades and abrasive industrial grinding wheels for cut-off grinding, flagging, chipping of cemented and

- precision machining: a wide program of conventional, diamond and CBN abrasive tools for gross machining and polishing, grinding, dressing, lapping and precision grinding of ferrous and non-ferrous materials;

- construction: diamond tools and integrated machine-systems for the processing of building materials and controlled demolition of constructions;

- trade: bonded and coated abrasives and diamond tools.

Tyrolit Vincent is a world leader in the processing of porcelain gres. It is also a leader in the domestic market in the supply of:

- diamond tools for glass and stone;

- machine-systems for controlled demolition in the field of construction under the trademark Hydrostress;

- abrasive wheels for cut-off grinding and gross machining of steel in the metal fabrication industry.

In 1998 the management system and the diamond products of Tyrolit Vincent S.p.A produced in Italy, were certified according to ISO 9001.

In 1999 Tyrolit Vincent S.p.a. has been awarded EN ISO 14001 environmental registration; this standard concerns companies' environmental compatibility.

This is yet another investment made by the company, which is proof of its constant commitment to producing high quality products while using materials and production processes that are compatible both with the surroundings and with the internal work environment.
