The kit contains four main components: two gel end-pieces, one central housing, and one DTerminator 2 terminal block. The product is available in two splice chamber sizes: A and B.The DTerminator 2 ICT integrated closure terminal features a convoluted design with a self-supporting bond assembly for easy installation with few parts. Recommended foruse on non-pressurized polyethylene-sheathed aerial cable (including self-supporting aerial cable), the DTerminator 2 terminal housing features a swing-up 180Ëš access door, facilitating drop wire installation, and terminal block access.The DTerminator 2 ICX upgradable terminalblock includes a ground strip. Although it is an unprotected model, the ICX driver modules canbe easily replaced in the field with protecteddriver modules, creating a protected pair unit when needed, saving unnecessary initial cost.The DTerminator 2 ICP protected terminal blockcontains driver modules with factory-sealed circuit protectors. Each connection is protected by a three element gas discharge tube.
