The GS3 1650 splice closure system provides a fast, simple way to industrial seal and encapsulate telephone cable spliced in pedestals. GS3 sealing sheet material is composed ofseveral layers of specially blended polymers and gels, with an aluminum moisture vapor barrier layer. The outer compression wrap provides excellent mechanical strength and provides superior protection from forces such as impact and abrasion.The innovative Urethane Delivery System drives encapsulant into the core of the cable, providing protection superior to that oftraditional poured urethane systems. Filling is simple: no funnel is required. Re-entry is fast and easy. No special splice supporting procedures areneeded for installation. Furthermore, up to three cables can enter.The GS3 1650 pedestal splice closure system isavailable in a kit for cable sizes up to 200 pair.
