ELEKTRONIK NBN/S3 inclinometers with CANopen Safety and SIL2 certificate Contactless, wear-free and robust sensor system in MEMS technology The NBN model range is a range of inclinometers which measures inclination in the gravitational field using MEMS sensors (Micro-Electro-Mechanical-System). Digitisation and linearisation are carried out using inte-grated controllers. In view of the new Machinery Directive 2006/42/EU which came into effect on 29.12.2009 and makes bin-ding safety requirements on the development and design of machines and systems, the NBN series has also been developed for safety-relevant applications.
