| | | European standard CONDUIT SYSTEMS FOR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS EN 50086 JANUARY 1996 The European Standard EN 50086 was approved by CENELEC on the 6 July 1993. It specifies the general prescriptions for all the conduit and accessories systems. A conduit system manufactured to comply with this Standard is considered safe for the user. The standards which do not comply with have to be retired within the 31.01.1996. The products wich, as demonstrated or by a Certification Institute, complied with the related national standard will be manufactured according to this until the 31.01.2001. CENELEC members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC, Internal Regulations which stipulate the conditions for giving this European Standard the status of a National Standard without any alteration. ^ui-^^lrSl CENELEC members are the national electrotechnical committees of: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom. | | |
