The TSM 9000 is a production management system that supervises and monitors blending, width, thickness, temperature zones, pressure and throughput on mono and co-extrusion lines with up to 7 layers.
TSM Touch Screen Blending / Extrusion Control System The system provides a central operator interface to the extrusion process and downloading / retrieving information from the individual blenders, sensors and controllers utilising client / server architecture designed to run under Windows NT/2000/XP. The "server" runs on the main computer and gathers data, generates material reports, alarm reports, and administers the recipe downloads. The systems can also support up to 8 "clients". TSM 9000 Supervisory System - 37217 Multi TaskingThe clients can run simultaneously on more than one networked computer - allowing, for example, an operator to monitor the process on the production floor, the shipping department to check the progress of the current order and the lab to check the quality of the rolls as they are being made; all from individual PC's at separate locations. (A maximum of 8 clients can be added with the standard version of the Windows licence shipped with the TSM 9000 software).User Interface – MimicsThe user interface is based around a series of graphics that mimic the process, as seen by the operator. The "mimics" automatically adjust to reflect the configuration of each customer's specific installation. A touch screen interface allows the user navigate his way around the system simply by touching the item of interest & using the on-screen pop-up keyboard. If required, a conventional keyboard and trackball can be connected to the system keyboard port.ReportingComprehensive reporting facilities allow the user to accurately track Roll, Order, Shift, Alarm reports and Material usage. The alarms report allows the user to identify the time the alarm occurred and when it was cleared. Alarm status is clearly highlighted in red on the graphic mimic. Production problems, output efficiency and finished product costs can all be monitored. Information is stored in a standard CSV format (Comma Separated Variable) which is compatible with most standard "spreadsheet programs." Standard Roll and Order report templates can be viewed in Excel or formatted by the user. Provision is made in the Order Report Template for the user to enter material, labour and power costs per unit, facilitating a total order cost to be automatically calculated. |
