PURPOSE
SBL 700 CNC slant bed lathe
Versatility/Complexity
The characteristics predestine the lathe for production in medium and large series, in the field of sophis­ticated machining of both metal and plastic work pieces with complicated geometrical shapes. The machine tool is be beneficial to productivity growth along with the considerable decrease in capital costs when used either for bearing rings production, batch production of flanges, clutch plates or half-axles for automotive industries.
Hydraulic rest with the thrust rollers automatic lubrication
The two self-cantering rest ranges with the wide clamping diameter range make possible operation in the following modes:
• support of the work piece free end (work piece front alignment, centre punch mark);
• support of the extremely small work pieces.
Driven tools
The driven tools make possible boring and milling without the need for changing the work piece chucking type after turning. These integrated operations are beneficial to reduction of the machining periods and make possible achieving extremely high productivity to a great extent.
Speed and performance
Turret
The turret with the driven cutting tools will make possible saving of machining process incidental times to a great extent.
Constant output in all modes
The main drive output reaches 37 kW, and 56 kW at short-run overloading. The two-speed electromechanical transmission makes possible increase of spindle toque at 2930 Nm.

The spindle is imbedded into the preloaded bearings with the oblique contact to achieve high rigidity and reliability.

Chucking system
The option of a proper chucking type makes possible turning from the smallest work pieces to the biggest parts.

The main spindle revolutions may reach a maximum of 2500 rev./min.-1 in dependence upon the user's needs and the machining mode.
