Editorial Policy of the Social & Environmental Report 2005
Toyota Industries started to publish its environmental report in FY 2000. In FY 2005, the report was expanded to cover the social aspects of Toyota Industries' business activities. This was accompanied by a title change to the Social & Environmental Report.
Editorial Policy
The main goal of this report is to openly, fairly and comprehensibly explain Toyota Industries Group efforts in our global business activities from the aspect of the social responsibilities. We have also tried to make this report as interesting as possible for our readers.
It is our hope that this report will serve to reinforce the company's communication with our stakeholders and heighten awareness regarding the social responsibilities of our employees and our business partners. These efforts will enable us to increase trust of stakeholders.
