Specifications
Product Description
Tower Optical Corp. offers the Series AO-.5-TZ true zero-order waveplates for IR wavelengths. The primary wavelength is 1550nm although other wavelengths are available. The benefits are accuracy with very short optical path length, excellent temperature stability and extended bandwidths. Each surface
of the waveplate is coated with an anti-reflection coating to maximize the transmission at the specified wavelength. The
Series AO-0.5-TZ waveplates are square and measure 0.5mm x 0.5mm and are fabricated from crystal quartz to 90 microns thick. Other sizes are available.
Tower Optical has a stock position of a wide variety of telecom True Zero Order Waveplates in the telecom band, from I500nm to 1600nm.
We offer 1/2 wave, 3/4 wave and 7/8 wave true zero order waveplates at several telecom wavelengths, and the 3/4 wave can
be used as a quarter waveplate with a sign reversal.
