| COMPO ARM uSA-ll The BA series widely used among users for diversified applications have been replaced by the new BA-II series which are now on the worldwide market. Ample variations covering from a single axis to orthogonal axes (2 to 4 axes) are lined up to respond to each user's requirements. The operating procedures and outer dimensions (*) of the BA-II series are compatible with those of the previous series and functions are upgraded. (* Excluding BB05 and BB07) •Short cycle time <Maximum speed> •Driven by ball screw: 1,200 mm/s (Previous series: 1,000 mm/s), stroke 600 mm or less •Driven by timing belt: 2,000 mm/s •High accuracy <Positioning repeatability> •Driven by ball screw: ±0.01 mm (Previous series:±0.02 mm) •Driven by timing belt:±0.05 mm •Absolute specifications for all types Absolute encoders not requiring home position return are used in all types. •To back up the encoder, long life lithium battery is used. The battery life is about 50,000 hours (previous series: 8,000 hours). A backup lithium battery is equipped on the controller (master unit, slave unit) as standard. •Use of high-speed CPU The controller has high-level processing ability through the use of a high-speed CPU. •Ample variations The actuator (or axis) comes in the following types; nine ball screw types and seven timing belt types. The motor set position can be selected from one of the four directions for each axis. |
