CONSTRUCTION(DC3S) FEATURES AND BENEFITS 100 98 96 94 92 90 10 100 20 30 1 MPa = 10.197 kg/cm2 * Do not use for toxic, flammable or otherwise hazardous gases. Body (Ductile Cast Iron) Screen (15-50mm)* (Stainless Steel) Separator (Stainless Steel) CONDENSATE ENTRAINED IN STEAM AND AIR WILL BE REMOVED WITH 98% EFFICIENCY. Float (Stainless Steel) Trap Valve Seat (Stainless Steel) * Screen for sizes 65-100 mm is in Trap Cover 1. Cyclone-Effects Separator: (Patented) 2. Free-Float Trap: (DC7 needs a separate trap) Provides condensate separation efficiency as high as 98%. Improves productivity and product quality with dry, high-quality steam/air. Continuously discharges condensate as it is separated. Provides a complete seal, even under no load conditions, with its precision ground spherical float and positive three-point seating. OPERATION SPECIFICATIONS 1 2 Fluid enters the inlet of the separator, and a complex series of fins changes the steam, air or gas flow into a high-speed cyclone flow, separating even mist-like condensate. The separated condensate accumulates at the bottom, lifting the float off the valve seat and discharging condensate continuously. FLOW VELOCITY AND EFFICIENCY (Accuracy: 2%; Condensation : 40~50kg/h) Condensation Separation Rate (%) Steam Flow Velocity (m/sec) Separation rate (%) is given as: quantity of condensate discharged quantity of incoming condensate During Separation During Discharge Model Type Connection Screwed Flanged Screwed Screwed Flanged Screwed Screwed Socket Welded Flanged Sizes Body Material Steam Separator Trap Air Separator Trap Steam, Air, Gas* Separator Orifice No. (Built-in Trap) Max.
