General

The relay type SSG is intended for the protection against over- loads, short circuits and earth faults in radial network, ring mains or variable structure networks, whatever neutral earth arrange- ments (isolated, resonant-earthed, through resistor or direct earthed). The relay protection functions have two setting parameters configu-rations (BANK A or BANK B). Activation of the two data sets is con- trolled by logical input or communications interfaces. Three phase current inputs and one residual current input, with nominal currents independently selectable at 1A or 5 A (different order codes to select). Three phase voltage inputs and one residual voltage input.

Construction

Flush or projecting mounting; current measuring circuits provided with short-circuiting devices.

Breaker failure

The Breaker failure function (BF) may be associated to all SSG pro- tection thresholds.
