MSP2 #4-40 (M3) Thread

Optical Rails

These Ø12mm diameter pedestal posts provide a solidmounting structure for our mini-series optical mounts. These posts are made from a nominally non-magnetic 300series stainless steel. The top and bottom of the posts have#4-40 (M3) tapped holes. A set screw is provided already mounted in the top of the post for connecting to our mini components.

Mini-Series Mounting Hardware

This series of miniature post holders features an attached swivel base, a spring loaded friction element that prevents the post from slippingdown into the holder prior to final tightening, plus a design that allows the post to pass directly through the post holder. This last featureprovides for a maximum range of beam heights when assembling an optical system. These MS series Ø6mm diameter posts have a #4-40(M3) threaded mounting stud in one end and a #4-40 (M3) tapped hole in the other end.
